How the Mission came to Be

Our Mission began as a memory of my parents Alex Cerda Angulo and Lupe Sapien Angulo. My pop was a Korean War Veteran, and my mom was a military spouse.
Cooking Thanksgiving Dinner for Veterans began in 2016 in memory of my Pop. We began with 75 attending; 250 in 2017, and 1,500 in 2019 and the vision expanded too much more! |

Ladies TKO put flags on Memorial Weekend on Veterans graveside with the Ladies Auxiliary VFW of West Covina.
Donation blankets to CalVets Fresno and homeless Veterans. Food distribution and blankets for the homeless and homeless veterans. Also, Turkey Give-Away for Thanksgiving.

Within months Ladies TKO had begun to advocate for other causes that became our FOCUS.
Issues that has become a mission for us: Alzheimer Disease Awareness; CalVets Homes; homeless & homeless veterans; memory loss centers; Domestic Violence Awareness; Sexual Assault Awareness; Militaru Sexual Trauma Awareness; distributing turkeys' giveaway; food giveaway; feeding the homeless; life skills workshops; and clothes giveaway, Our biggest event is our Annual Veteran Community Gala Awards. It's a free admission.
